About Us

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charitable organization that promotes the artistic and professional success of working artists and artisans at shows across the United States. We focus on education, and community building, and work to improve the quality and visibility of juried art fairs and festivals. We are committed to integrity, creativity, and the pursuit of excellence and we advocate for the highest ideals and practices within all aspects of the art show environment.

The National Association of Independent Artists is THE resource for all things related to artists who exhibit at art shows. Founded in 1996, NAIA is governed by a board of volunteer artists and art show directors and has become a nationally respected organization that represents and and fosters communication among artists, and between artists and shows.
